Got trick into a five year contract.When l already had a three year contract

Problem started when the salesman told my 90 parent they could cancel after the first year.Parent passed away before year ended and resolution center rep said contract was for five years and if they wouldn't get their payment, and there is no opportunity to cancel, they would secure their money from the sale of the home.
Or it would go into debt collections! There is NO WAY OUT. They prey on the elderly and the customer service department is a joke.
We must have called 10 times and the promises of a call back were ignored.Terrible company.
They pulled the same on me in California.They once sent the Fire Dept.
to my house at 0300 in the morning.Scared my wife and kids when the firemen were pounding on the door and what did Safeguard have to say about all of this: We were doing training and someone thought it was a real situation (I dont even have Fire Monitoring).
Also found out that all a burglar has to do is cut your phone line and Safeguard wont know for a week.
I completely despise this company.
