Had service since 2012. Tried to cancel and they said that I had renewed until 2018 - not true.

Called again and they agreed to cancel in October. They denied that it was canceled in December, and they said an email or letter is required to cancel - email sent in December. They say that it still is not canceled and that 60 days notice is needed to cancel in February.

The say that they have reported delinquency to the credit agency when they have not in February. They are using a threat to damage credit to try to extort more money after service has been canceled for months.

Product or Service Mentioned: Safeguard America Security Customer Care.

Reason of review: Failure to honor cancellation.

Monetary Loss: $180.

Preferred solution: Full refund.
